Who we are
Roshni Solutions ("we", "us") runs this website and decides how the personal data collected through it is used. Our registered office is Airport Road, Kashrote, Gilgit, Pakistan. For anything about your data, write to solutionsroshni@gmail.com.
What we collect, and what we do not
We ask only for what we need to answer you.
- Contact form: your name, work email, company, country, the service you are interested in and your message. Phone number and budget range are optional.
- Newsletter: your email address, the date you subscribed and a random code that makes your unsubscribe link work.
- Requests about your data: your email address, what you asked us to do and anything you chose to add.
- Your cookie choice: saved in your own browser so that we do not ask again on every page.
- Chat assistant: the messages you type in the chat. Built-in answers are worked out in your browser, so those messages are not sent anywhere. When the AI assistant is switched on, the conversation (up to the last 12 messages) goes to our server and on to Anthropic to write the reply. We do not store it, and it disappears when you reload or close the page.
- WhatsApp: the green WhatsApp button only opens WhatsApp on your device. Nothing is sent until you write to us there. If you do, we see your WhatsApp number, your profile name and what you send, and WhatsApp handles the messages under its own terms.
- Analytics and advertising data: only if you say yes in the cookie banner. The cookie policy has the details.
We do not store your IP address or details of your browser with anything you send us. To stop a form or the chat being flooded, the server keeps a scrambled fingerprint of your IP address in a temporary file for about an hour. It cannot be turned back into your address and is never written to our database. Our hosting provider may keep its own standard server logs.
We do not ask for sensitive information such as health details, bank details or identity documents. Please do not put any in a message.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare for a conversation with you. Legal basis: the consent you give with the tick box on the form, and steps taken at your request before a contract.
- To send the newsletter you asked for. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To handle a request about your data. Legal basis: our legal obligations.
- To answer the questions you type in the chat. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering visitors, and steps taken at your request before a contract.
- To keep the site and its forms safe from abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure service.
- To measure how the site is used and how our advertising performs. Legal basis: the consent you give in the cookie banner.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use it to make automated decisions about you. Sending an enquiry does not add you to a mailing list.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to [24 months] after our last contact with you, then deleted.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your address, marked as unsubscribed, so that we do not email you again. Ask us to delete it and we will.
- Requests about your data: [3 years], as the record that we received and answered them.
- Your cookie choice: 12 months in your browser, or until you clear it.
- Chat messages: not stored by us. When the AI assistant is on, Anthropic may keep them for a limited period under its own terms. [Confirm Anthropic's current retention period for API data.]
- WhatsApp messages: kept in our WhatsApp account for up to [24 months] after our last contact with you, then deleted.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the companies that help us run this site, and only as far as each one needs it. Some are used only when the feature they support is switched on.
- Website hosting: [hosting provider and country].

- Email delivery for enquiry notifications, the newsletter and replies about your data: Resend.
- Spam protection on the contact form, when enabled: Cloudflare Turnstile.
- Writing chat replies, when the AI assistant is switched on: Anthropic.
- Messages you send us on WhatsApp: WhatsApp, run by Meta.
- Analytics, only with your consent: Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Advertising measurement, only with your consent: Meta and LinkedIn.
Some of these companies process data outside the country you live in. Where the law requires it we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. [Confirm the safeguard that applies to each provider.]
Children
This website is written for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and our forms ask you to confirm that you are 18 or over. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent us personal data, tell us through the data request page or at the address above and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to stop using it for marketing, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to move it elsewhere. You can withdraw a consent you gave at any time. Use the data request page or email solutionsroshni@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days and do not charge for this. We may first ask you to confirm the request from the email address it concerns.
Every newsletter email carries an unsubscribe link, and the unsubscribe page also works without one. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Keeping it safe
What you send us travels over an encrypted connection and can be read only by the people who need it to answer you. No website can promise perfect security. If a breach affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Cookies
The cookie policy lists exactly what is stored in your browser. Nothing optional is set before you choose, and saying no takes the same single click as saying yes.
Changes to this policy
We will post any change here and update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
